DETAILS

Space-Ray® designed the original radiant gas brooder for use in Europe 50 years ago. The SRB40CR series of radiant gas brooders have withstood the test of time.

Each heater consumes .43 GPH of liquid propane (LP) to provide 40,000 BTU/HR. A stainless steel emitter assembly, fully insulated and enclosed will not crumble or distort. Meanwhile, a large deep aluminum canopy to efficiently reflect heat to desired litter area. Each heater comes with a 3 years limited warranty. Individual heater thermostats sold separately.

Space-Ray® SRB40CR Radiant Brooder Heater Features:

  • Stainless steel, corrosion-resistant burner assembly features simple disassembly for easy cleaning and maintenance
  • Pilot models have a quick release bracket and easily removable shields for quick access to the pilot orifice
  • DSI models feature new dual fuel regulator which enables the gas valve on the brooder to operate using either natural gas or propane gas
  • Stainless steel main burner gas line for strength and durability
  • Ignition control features a moisture-resistant enclosure
  • Safety pan below burner helps shield litter area directly beneath brooder
  • Low profile mounting bracket permits easy leveling of brooder
