Featuring an integrated 75W heating system, the MiraFount 3465-E features a 20 gallon capacity suitable for watering 100 head of cattle or 40 dairy cows. Extra thick insulation within the polyethylene side walls reduces heating needs, even in the most frigid temperatures. Miraco’s patented Roll Away Ball closure adds an additional layer of insulation over the drinking holes, for further protection from the cold.
When the extra warmth is needed to prevent icing, the 3465-E’s heating system kicks in. This unit is one of the most economical heated livestock waterers on the market, containing a 75W heat element and thermostat that only requires 4kw of electricity during a week of -25 degrees.
