Manufactured by AP® Super-Saver XL direct-fired heaters are a go-to option for heating poultry and swine houses. Fueled with liquid propane (LP) gas, this unit is designed for inside mounting.
Its gas circulating operation is ideal for the confinement environment inside of barns. Running off of liquid propane (LP) gas, the SS-75-XL can output up to 75,000 BTUs per hour – ideal for larger facilities. Super-Saver XL heaters are also available in a 225k BTU model.
Rugged design features make this unit an excellent choice for the farm. The service saver enclosed electrical control unit is sealed from debris, such as dust and moisture, the control unit and blower motor are accessible through a side door for easy field service.
An electronic HSI ignition is standard on all models while the heating chamber is constructed from high temperature aluminized steel to offer greater protection from rust. The SS-75-XL also features an enamel dipped cast iron burner designed to eliminate dust adhesion and rust.
