Our newest generation series of Arctic Air® fans with SMC fiberglass technology once again raise the bar in quality, looks, performance and pricing! The 55” variable speed fan model is available in both single and three phase and in two motor sizes: 1-½ HP and 2 HP.
The SMC fiberglass housing results in a smooth skin, aerodynamic shape and highly tolerant fit and molding. This allows for tighter blade clearance, reduces air drag and noise while providing increased strength and performance. In addition, the SMC fiberglass process is better for the environment - the process produces almost no scrap nor negative environmental impact, ideal for workers during manufacturing.
Arctic Air® fans are powered by high efficiency variable speed motors partnered with our robust variable speed aluminum blade design. Our sealed bearing shaft transmission and new Arctic Air® long life belts can be easily removed or serviced by sliding over the end of the blade.
Designed for continual use, our long life sealed motor bearings and shaft bearings reduces fan maintenance. Arctic Air® SMC fans run on high effective mode creating a linear high speed cooling wave of air across the floor. This controlled and directed wave of air is ideal for cooling animals and people, drying floors, insect control, and delivering fresh air.
Arctic Air® 55” Variable Speed Fan Product Features:
- SMC fiberglass housing is exceptionally smooth on both sides and extremely strong
- Three (3) strong aluminum blades balanced and designed for variable speed
- Highly efficient motors totally enclosed with sealed maintenance-free bearings
- Variable speed motors, when used with an approved VES VFD, operate smoothly between maximum and minimum speed
- Strong aluminum framed shutter with plastic louvers with tie bars
- No maintenance required on blade bearings
- One (1) long life quick change belt with 2 sealed bearings in blade transmission shaft
- Taper lock bushing on motors, blade and blade pulley
- 4" Paddle fiber reinforced poly blade
- High speed creats 1200 FPM of velocity under the fan with total floor coverage of 20' x 60'
- 55 in has 3 strong aluminum blades balanced and designed for variable speed
- Highly efficient motors totally enclosed with sealed maintenance-free bearings
- 55 in available in single and three phase and two motor sizes 1-1/2 and 2 hp
- 55 in model has 1 long life quick change belt with 2 sealed bearings in blade transmission shaft
- 55 in models have taper lock bushing on motors, blade and blade pulley
- This allows for easy blade positioning and alignment along with removal
