Designed by Arctic Air®, a leader in agricultural and industrial ventilation, the 18 inch Arctic Whirl® basket fan was designed for providing additional ventilation or warm airflow in barns and greenhouses.
This barn fan generates high velocity air movement for a variety of applications and features a moisture resistant basket that is OSHA compliant. The optional open style guard provides great performance, energy efficiency, and an air pattern that is designed for heat destratification. The OSHA compliant guard means the fan can be mounted at any height. The totally enclosed air over motor can be used in harsh agricultural, horticultural, and industrial environments.
Arctic Whirl 18” Basket Fan Key Features:
- Guard, blade, and bracket powder coated for corrosion resistance
- Direct drive motor is completely sealed with permanently lubricated ball bearings with thermal overload protection
- Adjustable wall mount bracket pivots up to 140 degrees
- Fan head tilt able to 105 degrees
- Constructed with high grade steel
- Factory balanced aluminum blades
- Powder coated guard, blade, base and pole for corrosion resistance
- 3-speed with pull chain
- Motor seal, switch and wiring connections have moisture-resistant rubber gasketing
