Slammers™ manure pit treatment bars from ASI are designed to naturally and safely digest organic waste. Made from 100% stabilized naturally occurring bacterial spores, these blocks can be slipped into the slatted floors of deep and shallow pit buildings.
Featuring time release activation, each block uses unique bacterial cultures selected for optimum enzyme production. The bacterial cultures efficiently break down proteins, carbohydrates, and fats to treat odors, BOD, COD, suspended solids, turbidity and ammonia concentrations in lagoons and manure pits. Bacteria is released from the bottom up to help liquefy the sludge throughout the manure pit profile.
One pit Slammers™ block treats 25,000 gallons of livestock waste.
