With a rough opening that measures 12.5” by 12.5”, this 3-speed shuttered exhaust fan from Arctic Air® is a livestock barn staple.
Performance and longevity are key: the totally enclosed motor comes complete with built-in speed switches and a 9 ft cord. The unit ships fully assembled for quick installation: simply mount the fan in the wall and plug it into an approved receptacle.
The corrosion resistant aluminum shutter comes complete with a tie bar to reduce shutter flapping and keep the shutters closed when the fan is not running. On the intake side of the fan the balanced aluminum blade is protected by a durable painted grill.
Arctic Air® 12” Exhaust Fan With Shutter Features:
- Ships fully assembled; no electrician required when plugged into an approved electrical outlet. Built-in speed switch with 9 ft cord attached.
- Safety powder coated guard on intake side meets OSHA standards
- Motor enclosures have been machined to <0.5mm to reduce rotor shaft play; rotors have been balanced to reduce noise vibration and prolong life
- Capacitor rating 450 VAC, 10000 hrs for extended life
