Soft Farrowing Compost Mats is the new alternative to the rubber mats currently being used in swine facilities.
Disease organisms can remain in the fabric of a traditional rubber mat even after washing, sanitizing and drying.
This creates a problem thereby causing disease to linger from one litter to the next, never going away.
Soft Farrowing Compost Mats products are designed to break the disease cycle by starting new pigs with a fresh, clean mat that hasn't been exposed to another litter's diseases.
Produced from 100% organic materials (cornstalks and wood mulch), Soft Farrowing Compost Mats can be composted or broken into pieces and fed to gestating sows as feedback material to further protect the upcoming litters.
