How Edstrom pig drinking nipples work to drink, the pig simply moves the stem by biting on it.
It will then release water.
When the pig releases the end of the stem, the elasticity of the silicone rubber diaphragm located behind the stem head pushes the head back to the closed position, stopping the flow of water.
Available in the following 3 models: Edstrom hog nipple waterer - stainless steel, 1/2 mpt Edstrom's standard hog nipple waterer.
Designed for use by pigs 50 lb and up.
Solid 303 stainless steel body, silicone rubber diaphragm, no springs, no orifices and no screens.
Calibrated to discharge 1.5 qt/min at 40 psi.
Operating range of 0 to 50 psi.
Also works well for goats and sheep.
5 years warranty by manufacturer.
