Shenandoah’s Shen Vec series of heaters feature a unique spiral ceramic radiant for efficient convection heating. Each heater is equipped with an individual thermostat. This allows control of each brooder independently of the others.

For added safety, each Shen Vec brooder combines a snap-action thermostat with a 100% safety cut-off valve. The thermostat snaps from high to off based on control settings. No electricity is required.

Easily maintain each brooder heater: every unit features easy access to the orifice in the jet burner and a patented horizontal pilot for easy cleaning and maintenance with no tools. Please note: compressed air cleaning is recommended. Do not power wash the heater.

Convection heating allows for better controlled ambient temperature control because it heats the air around the unit rather than directly heating objects underneath it. Each Shen Vec unit outputs 30k BTU/hr. Fueled by liquid propane (LP); ideal for heating an average of 250 to 400 sq. ft and 1,000 to 1,250 chicks.
